        Non-existent after-sales service! I bought a Philips steam iron in June 2019 and after just 3-4 uses, the non-slip surface started to peel away. Although still under guarantee the shop said the last time they sold one of these irons was in October 2018 and so mine must be out of guarantee. Even though I showed them my bank statement proving that I made the purchase in June 2019, they refused to help me. I will not be shopping at Robert Dyas again. No wonder many UK high street shops are struggling.
