This is the first time I have been here , all looks very tidy and interior is amazing , love those paintings on the wall, marble tables & leather sits are very comfy. Lovely team have met me on the entry with smile and questioning how is my morning , I felt welcomed, and Ive stayed for a cup of jasmine tea to listen the music and read the book . But they do offer a breakfast , toast with ham etc , salads and soups too . I must try next time :) So happy that I found this gem in Central London. Also they have free Wi Fi . Definitely will come back ! :))

Used to go here for years but prices have become ludicrous and will avoid going forward. Recent price evolution equals to nearly 20% compared to a year ago: - 9.25 as of this week Mar23 - 8.75 in Jan23 - 7.95 in Sep22 - 5.95 in Sep21 Price increases are much larger than other lunch places in the area. They are not honoring customer loyalty cards anymore. No improvements made to quality or customer experience to justify the increases. The latest price rise to 9.25, at a time when inflation is cooling, is simply profit gouging on the back of customers. Have Birley's staff at least received a pay rise anywhere to near to the price increases of +55% over the last 2 years?

Vegetarian options: Loads of veg options. My best option for lunch in the city. Best sandwitches and salads! Mondays and Fridays are the quietest days of the week. Always there then!
