The bartenders were very friendly and made some great drinks. We also greatly appreciated that the hotel was able to accommodate us with a room with a view of the tower bridge. The reason for 1 star off is that it didnt feel like a 4 star hotel at times; a wall in our room had a hole in it, the pillows and liner on the bed were very dirty, and the mini fridge was locked for several days of our stay. When we asked for it to be unlocked, we expected to see items in there for consumption it was completely empty. Odd for a hotel of their caliber. A couple of other notes- the lobby becomes very packed very quickly with long lines for check in/out. There isnt an outdoor rooftop for guests, but there is an outdoor seating area outside the bar. Two rooms around us with very rowdy guests also filled up in the middle of our stay (screaming, partying until 2 or 3am, running up and down the hallways banging on doors). We didnt expect that behavior here- something to be aware of possible anywhere, but usually the hotel nips that in the bud. Its important to note that there is another hotel with a similar name a few blocks away. This is incredibly confusing. Dont make the same mistake we did and go to the wrong hotel. Im glad we chose this hotel for our stay for the view and convince near the tube, despite some of the surprises we encountered.

Very nice hotel. Amazing location if you plan to go by underground! We really liked the design (we were in the "newer" executive rooms with a super nice looking blue and gold design), the staff was super nice, very accommodating and tried to help as much as they could. Luggage could be stored for everyone, water was available and we really liked the breakfast (from omelettes, british breakfast, eggs, bacon, fruits, cornflakes, muesli/yogurts and smoothies, to all kind of buns, pancakes etc). The beds were good, room-cleaning was clean and tidy, but seemed to be done in very little time, where some details might go missing under a hurry. There is a pool, a sauna and spa, which is well kept if a little old-ish and dark. All in all the hotel seems to be an older building that is kept with care and cool design choices and with great beds, breakfasts, nice staff and the amazing location we would definitely come back! Thank you!
