***Management of Timpson need to read this*** Charles was wonderful this morning. I needed new casing for my car key and the first couple of tries didn't work. Charles phoned for support from Totton Asda branch, this then resulted in a phone call back from the manager there, He talked through resetting the machine on speaker phone and all was resolved. Charles successfully changed my casing and cut a new blade and we applauded when it worked. One thing I will point out is the tone in which the manager from Totton asda branch used. I do not think this was a good way to support Charles and to keep up morale. Almost a berating tone and speaking like Charles was a child. Perhaps management at timpson need to look into the communication skills of their managers and giving staff the support and encouragement they require rather than belittling their fine skills! Well done Charles! Hope you enjoyed a big mug of tea after!

Visited to have keys cut and watch looked at. I regularly use the Timpsons at Morrisons and cannot rate them highly enough. Every time I have been, I have been greeted warmly and genuinely. On my latest visit, Charles went above and beyond the call of standard customer service, replacing the battery in my watch, under their 'lifetime battery replacement' guarantee. He carefully checked the mechanism and supplied another seal, to make the watch more splash-proof. All the while chatting in a friendly and open manner, including sharing how much he feels valued as a Timpson employee. I feel valued as a Timpson customer. Timpsons are a rare service-provider in this day and age of cut-throat and appalling retailers out there. Visiting them is always a pleasure and I have no hesitation in recommending them. 5 stars all round.
