The Totteridge Yew tree in the churchyard is thought to be London's oldest living thing! The earliest written mention of this majestic tree reportedly date back to 1677 when Sir John Cullum recorded its girth. But its believed that the tree may have been extant as far back as the Roman settlement of Londinium.
