My daughter has been taking music theory lessons with Valentine for about 2 years. Shes an outstanding teacher and my daughter has made such progress in such a short space of time. We were thrilled when she passed her Grade 4 Theory exam with Disrinction. Shes patient , committed, well organised and has the ability to relate to children, making the lessons fun and challenging. Shes such an amazing teacher , we are so lucky to have found her .

I started lessons with Valentine 6 weeks before my grade 7 violin exam, in the need of aural lessons. I didnt do my grade 6 violin exam so the last time I did aural was at least 2-3 years ago! I basically had no idea about the aural tests in the grade 7 exam, but Valentine helped me so much! She taught me everything I needed to know in 6 lessons, from my knowledge being little to none! Her teaching methods/ styles were so helpful and she is such a kind, patient, knowledgeable and passionate teacher. She adapted her teaching to what I knew and managed to teach me everything so quickly, as well as in detail. I am so grateful to have had her as my teacher - I honestly dont know what I would have done without her!

Valentine has taught both my daughters piano and Music Theory. She is an amazing teacher who has inspired them both and given them a solid foundation for music. Valentine is very encouraging, supportive and insightful, managing to recognise the individual learning styles of both girls. She loves to teach and is able to bring tricky theory concepts to life for young children. I'd say that's unique. We highly recommend Valentine.
