Nothing seems to be working within b.council. staff are rude over telephone, and even making numerous phone calls, does not get any results. It's a disgrace.

Esther Ribest is just b%^/-ch. She pretends to be on your side but doing everything against you making your life harder than it is I found a property by myself without this usless help of miserable people, I was ready to pay by myself what I needed just a presence and a control the renting process from the council. Ms. Robert declared me in a rude manner that I had to manage by myself to go through the whole process of renting, having a risk paying my money. No empathy, no support, just trying to hurt you as much as possible. Also, such actions of the housing office just make more jobs for the council. As I stopped doing anything by myself, relying on the council onlyby the rude suggestion of Robert.

Terrible service. Reaching them on the phone or email is sometimes mission impossible. Their online service is exactly the same. The website it so slow, not responding and when you make a mistake with your log in once, you are told you have reached the maximum attempts. It's just so frustrating to deal with them. Another thing are the appointments. We've had so many missed appointments and no one cares. You'd have to spend sometimes hours on the phone to chase it up. And many of the staff you speak to are so rude, especially to do with the rent department, it's as if they want you to lose your patience so they can put the phone down in you or add you to their VAR list (so many NOT aggressive residents ended up on it as they refuse to be treated rudely by the staff).

I was given one of their council properties and lived there between: 2008 and 2010 as a returning care leaver who was placed outside of the borough. The worst renting experience Ive ever had in my life! When I had applied for housing benefit whilst was living on an low income after loosing my job they refused to process my claim or even pay me. When the arrears became so high, Barnet homes illegally evicted me, showing up with a false county court bailiff, locked all my belongings in the property and said I wont get them until the money is paid. When I went down to their offices to sort things out I was attacked by their security who were called by their cowardly staff because they didnt want to talk about what they did. If I had known what devils they were, I would never have stepped foot back in to this borough.
