As first time parents we went through the process of visiting all nursery schools in the area and we found Pavillion to be the one where we really trusted the staff to look after our 1 year old. There is something very warm and motherly about the place and we haven't regretted the decision 3 years after. We know our sons are looked after and loved by all the staff. Other nurseries might look sleeker, more tech-savvy or organised but we found that when it came to the caring part, the staff from other nurseries were generally younger and seemed to spent more time in their phones that actually looking after the kids. If you value a family approach, with a big green messy outdoor area at the back, and a community of parents that meet regularly at the pub or for kids birthday parties then pavilion is your place.

My daughter attended this nursery for just over 1 year and recently Ive pulled her out. I myself went to this nursery many years ago so thought it was a good place to send my child. I would say my biggest issue with this nursery is the LACK of communication which is showing in their ofsted report. The staff with the exception of a few (Kristy & Shaaron and a couple others) are rude and unprofessional. The manner in which they speak to you as a parent is concerning. My daughter started refusing to attend nursery about 7 months in. She would cry and beg me not to go in, there was then an incident with a new key worker in which my daughter still refuses to discuss with me. Again the nursery havent cleared this up. When I raised any complaints I was met with confrontation and judgments about my character. If you want the best for you child send them to a different nursery.

Fantastic nursery with staff who have children's best interests at hearth. My daughter flourished there, she started at 14 months in a middle of pandemic and staff managed to keep her and other kids safe and happy. Great outdoor space - huge mature garden and a lot of outdoor play. My daughter grew up being an independent and confident toddler and have mastered a lot of new skills there.

Our child absolutely loves it here - you know the staff do a great job when the little one hardly cares to say bye to the parent on drop off! All of the communications we've had with staff have been very professional and the kids and adults are most often smiling. I would call this nursery a bit more 'low tech' than some others but that's totally fine by us, and we don't necessarily need to have a notification on our phone every time our child eats a raisin. The kids spend a lot of time in the garden which is great. Highly recommend Pavilion to any local parents in the area.
