Its called,Blighty, and their strap line reads, a very British cafe. Na-a! Its rundown. This is, in my opinion, a slur against quintessentially British good taste. The first impression I got when entering Blighty, was, it was unkempt. I found absolutely no redeemable features whatsoever. It wasnt shabby chic, (I can take that), its just shabby. If the owners aim was, to make the place down to earth and cosy, I believe theyve failed on both counts. It looks like no one cares, and that anything is good enough. Its gloomy, and has the appearance, to me at least, of being unclean. Perhaps the owner(s) think thats what Tottenham residents want! Well, this Tottenham resident most certainly does not. All the furnishings are paltry. The whole place looks like no one cares. I instantly took a dislike to it. The cafe reflects badly on Blighty, (England), actually. Its not at all representative of English good taste and class.
