MiNightVet South Devon

This vet is disgusting. My OAP hamster took a turn for the worse. I rang my regular vet to find they close at 1pm on a Saturday. I've never needed an out of hours vet before. The auto recording took me to minightvet, who's auto bot informed me it's 49 just for them to answer the phone , then 179 to look at the animal. That's 228 BEFORE any treatment. Who the hell can afford that in a cost of living crisis? 49 to answer the phone?!? That's vile. I have now made my hamster as comfortable as possible and keep checking on him and am praying the lord takes him quickly because there is no way I can afford 228 before treatment. I hope the vets here get sick and need the NHS and all the NHS staff are on strike that day. I hope you suffer the way my hamster has you disgusting theives.

MiNightVet is our usual vets out of hours choice for emergencies. Very friendly & helpful on the phone, we were informed of charges etc in advance and they saw to our dog as soon as he arrived at the practice. From the initial phone call with advice to then having to call to bring him in and our dog having to be treated they were extremely professional & kind. They managed to treat him and send him back home with us in little over an hour. Despite how cheeky and hyper our dog can be, this wasnt an issue for them. I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who was involved in Lokis treatment last night, he is much happier today and feeling much better already. Definitely happy to recommend this practice.

Friendly staff that seem very knowledgeable. They seemed very concerned about offering appropriate care, while not costing us the world. We would not hesitate to call them again in an emergency.

I had to bring 3 4 week old kittens in, who's mum had been put to sleep the day before. One of them was clearly very unwell. The Scottish vet I saw was absolutely amazing. She treated them expertly, and was very understanding of the situation. I was very impressed indeed and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
