Fumiaki Tanaka MSTAT, RCST Craniosacral therapy & Alexander Technique

Fumiaki is an exceptional practitioner and teacher. I have been having weekly sessions for a few months because I find the Cranio treatment so effective and the Alexander technique a way for me to help myself. Each session carefully combines the two which I find very effective. A must not just for those that need treatment but also those that want to improve their posture and explore preventative measures.

I initially went to see Fumiaki for Craniosacral Therapy - after the session I felt a wonderful calm and gentle happiness that I had not felt in a long time. Fumiaki then explained that, as I am a singer and performer, Alexander Technique might also work well for me. The next time I saw him we did a combination of both Cranio and Alexander which left me feeling so at home in my own body - I had a performance a few weeks later and I could still feel the effects. I have been seeing Fumiaki regularly for most of 2022, initially to avoid having a foot operation. It hasn't been a quick fix, but has been transformational, not only is my foot issue much better, but my whole spine is releasing many years of tension which has been hugely beneficial. So far i have had mostly Craniosacral therapy which has been gentle, relaxing and has had a very deep effect which is helping to prepare my body for working more with Alexander Technique which I hope will maintain all this improvement for lifelong change. In addition, through Fumiaki I have discovered The Three Principles teachings which matches beautifully with the Alexander Teachings and Craniosacral Therapy. Fumiaki has a wonderful, gentle and very powerful touch, is very patient and combines experience in so many fields that I think he is a true holistic practitioner with a magical touch. I am very glad i found him and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I have had frequent sessions with Fumiaki for a year now and intend to carry on doing so. I regard the Alexander technique as a very important part of staying healthy, complementary to and consistent with virtually every type of conventional or com,plementary medicine. (I've been having Alexander lessons, mostly in London and the SE, for forty or so years now, I'm in my seventies) I have much less experiance with cranio-scaral therapy; but they seem to work together for me in helping to maintain health and fitness)
