Is a lovely town with lovely countryside walkes and lots of outdoor and indoor sport's with lit outdoor facility's and a gym, swim and sports centre. Nice friendly people mostly. Easy to travel by bus or train anywhere. The only reason why iv not given it more stars is because it's slowly getting turned into a bigger town where local farmer's have had to sell land for houses to go up. I fear that it will have a bad afect on the local community that all seem to no each other and look out for each other. It's like they are turning totnes into a town like Newton Abbot but the people of the town don't seem to be ok with it. I would recommend visiting but don't be expecting lots and lots of shopping as the town is 1 rd and it's a big hill lol but the shops that are here are lovely and well worth a gander then u could walk to dartington gardens and wight Hart pub or to the ciderpress shopping centre. Expensive but lovely walks and nice places to get a drink and food. The list gose on and on.
