My check in was speedy and efficient. I was in a small double that was well presented. The rooms are modern but just a little worn around the edges. That said, my room was immaculate and the bedding and towels were in good condition.
The hotel is in the grounds of an hospital and I can only assume that it's possibly the old nurse's home? As it was a Sunday night that I stayed it was very quiet in the grounds. I slept undisturbed.
In summary, if you just want somewhere to put your head down for a night or two I would thoroughly recommend it.
Walkability: I walked from the tube station ( Tooting Broadway) I also walked to one of the local supermarkets. Didn't need a car.
