        I visited the crematorium today and I was so disappointed to see the state it was in. The grounds are overgrown and and the chapel where the book of rememberance is, has dead flowers and the windows dirty and just need cleaning and a touch of paint. The flower beds are dead and overgrown. I realise we have had a hot summer, and there is a water ban but there is nothing to stop tidying the beds and hedges. WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!

        I wanted a service offered that wasn't influenced by funeral directors. So this was the best option. Your loved one is at the crematorium waiting so you don't have the awful experience of them being carried in at the beginning. It was lovely walking in and them being there already. It was easy to organise and the team I met Richard and Freddie (Chapel attendant at lambeth Crematorium tooting) were very helpful, kind and understanding. I would totally recommend as an alternative to the costly funeral directors.
