My first visit in a while. It's had a recent makeover outside and all the better for it. Still a proper olde English country pub. Perfect.

Booked a family Sunday lunch for 18 people, good selection of food for everyone. The service & food quality was excellent, plus many more dinners in the pub / restaurant & nobody had to wait long for their food. A good pint of Timothy Taylors Landlord to complete a great lunchtime with family

Sunday lunch here is excellent. Today (Friday) the fish & chips were very well done and burnt . lasagne had hardly any filling, just smothered in cheese. Disappointed to say the least, chef just said "sorry".
