Would have given zero stars. I went though policy expert and this company is who I got landed with. They sent out 5 assessors to my home after it flooded in July. Finally sent out cowboys to fix it in November. No bathroom or kitchen facilities but they didn't care with the exception of one that finally got the ball rolling. On top of that one of the guys that came out came with a body cam and announced it so all my neighbours could hear then proceeded to speak down to my partner. When I phoned him as I was working at that time he spoke down to me thinking it was her which I complained about when they sent out another guy to inspect my home again. If you care about your home stay clear of this company. And policy expert

Had an emergency with my boiler, after contacted the Costumer services it was give me the support to resolve this issue in the best way possible. Ive contacted the local Plumber that carried the ermergeny repairs, once compmeted ive made application for payment that and recieve it after 5 days.

Thoroughly disappointed that they were not prepared to take on the claim due due to their very rigid terms and conditions. It is stated on page 14 of the policy wordings, under the consumer disputes section of cover "We will pay costs for any dispute about advice, specification, design, construction, conversion, extension, renovation or demolition relating to any land or buildings, if they are part of your home and the contract value is less than 20,000 [including VAT]." The fact I did state that the quote I was sent was over the limit, the quote was never valid anyway as they never even approached the manufacturer to get a quote and made up an amount that was competitive. The amount I was trying to claim back was under 20,000 and was my deposit paid to company. I tried to explain this but wasn't interested in what I had to say. Very black and white and very unhelpful
