Dr Rob McIntosh - Cardiologist - Nottingham

I have been seen on 2 or 3 occasions by Mr McIntosh who has dealt with me in a professional and helpful manner. I did not feel hurried and he took time to explain my problem in detail. I thank him for finding out the true nature of my complaint and will keep checking me periodically in the future.

I was recently seen by Dr McIntosh as a private health care patient and I must say the treatment I received was second to none. Dr McIntosh responded to my initial call promptly, he dealt with me very professionally and sensitively, he was able to answer all my questions with straight answers and he very quickly put my anxieties at ease even when I was reluctant to have a pacemaker fitted. During my stay in hospital all appointments required were set up and completed in a timely manner thanks to Dr McIntosh. During my procedure he continued to reassure me throughout and treated me with courtsey and respect, I am so glad I had the procedure and have never felt better. I would like to thank Dr McIntosh for everything and for keeping the doors open for further consultation should I wish.

Dr McIntosh recently treated my father, and I would like to state that working within the health care profession myself, I cannot rate Dr McIntosh highly enough. His care, consideration and compassion shown towards my father was exemplary. All procedures were explained fully and candidly, with time and consideration given to any questions asked. This removed any worry or uncertainty. Furthermore, after the procedure (pacemaker followed by angiogram and stents) it was gratifying to find that Dr McIntosh wished to be contacted if there was any ongoing concerns or questions, making him very approachable.
