Was at the Ladies FA cup final on 4th May 2019 and my 5yr old son wanted some chips. But Tides refused to sell a box of chips, even though they were filling the boxes just behind the counter. They would only sell meals of cod and chips, sausage (pork presumably) and chips or fish finger and chips. So I asked what was the veggie option and got a shake of the head. So noticing the sign on the wall inviting customers to ask about dietary restrictions then I asked what was on offer for vegans, to which I got "dunno I'll ask the supervisor". The supervisor arrived and her response to the question was "the butcher's down there sells gluten free options!". In an age where every 5th celeb uses the V word, it is inexcusable that a prestigious venue such as Wembley tolerates such ignorance from its vendors. Anyway two people I sat with bought a cod and sausage meal for 7 each. The skinny chips were only okay but too few and the sausage was tough and the fish minute, covered in soggy greasy batter. There were two Tides on the East side of the middle circle, this near block 209, which had no queue and another near block 240 which had a long queue. I wonder why.
