Honestly one of the worst customer services experiences I've encountered in a long time. We popped into starbucks at 6:30pm for a quick snack/dinner pre the theatre. First, my mum was rudely told she couldn't use the bathrooms because they'd already started cleaning them (a whole two hours before they shut the store.) As we were paying, my mother asked the lady if she could use them and she again quite rudely reiterated that she could not...after asking isn't it a legal requirement to have bathrooms when serving food and drink, we again got rudely declined. The second incident occurred when I went over to one side of the shop to take a seat and without me saying anything the same lady who refused my mum access to the toilets told me I couldn't sit there (but offered no explanation as to why / didn't apologise at all) and when I asked why because I'd just seen people leave from sitting there she answered "Yes I've just told them to move so you can't sit there either" - it was all really rude and blunt. Thirdly to put the icing on the cake, none of our paninis that we'd reluctantly paid for were warm, none cut in half as usual (just seems lazy) and we were surrounded by the rude worker cleaning up tables around us outside whilst we sat and ate our food. Overall, a really horrible experience making none of us want to shop in Starbucks again and will never be revisiting this store. From previous reviews, this seems to be a recurring problem and I really think starbucks needs to take a look at the workers here and sort it out. I've worked in customer service / retail for years and I don't think anyone deserves to be treated like this. If you are kind to customers, they are kind to you back and the world is a nicer place...simple!!
