We have been going there for nearly 50 years and chose the place as the venue for our friends visit from Birmingham for her 60th birthday. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! My wife's favourite prawn cocktail no longer on the menu, steaks arrived cold and had to be sent back but returned to us only slightly hotter. Wrong side orders delivered. Couple of the steaks were quite tough. Pies were good. Passed on desserts as they were so uninspiring..
Rather embarrassingly our waitress suffered from bad B. O. which was rather off putting.
