The Polished Knob

This is a pub doing everything it can to be noticed. From the name to the condom like logo on the door to the hugely overstyled interior. It does look like it should be in Benidorm not Tod. But in its own weird way all this does make for a pleasant place. There's a few tables outside if you don't appreciate the interior. There's a fair old selection of beers so you'll probably find something you'll like there and the prices are pretty muchly the same as other pubs. Staff aren't over friendly with strangers but you get fast efficient service. Word of warning, cash only, there's a sign by the door, (plenty people miss it!). But there's cash machines just over the road.

Quirky pub. Central location near the railway station. Cash only. Fortunately cash machines across the road. Live music. Good selection of alcoholic beverages. Also has rooms above the pub if you want to stop over 60 per night
