Im sorry that Debbie has felt not gave the full account of the conversation we had at the lake side Yes I did mistakenly use a small barbed hook but did show her a pack of none barbed hooks that I had and thought that was one of the hooks Secondly I did set up a float fishing rod Debbie checked it seem happy with it Not why shes saying that they were second hand when I told her it was all new tackle that my wife got me There was 1 small rod I use for float fishing and a larger rod that I use for course fishing Im not aware any of the rods that are for sea fishing The only rule I broke was mistakenly putting on the wrong hook At no point I felt I was putting any fish In danger needles to say I will never return

Just had 3 nights here in our motorhome with our 3 dogs. Absolutely stunning site set in beautiful grounds. So quiet and peaceful with full access for walking around the many lakes. Facilities absolutely pristine. Icing on the cake for hubby was fantastic fishing. Friendly owner. Really cant fault the place and we will definately be back

Back in 2003 Debbie and Andy took over Lemington lakes at first it looked great that the fishery had new owners that wanted to improve the fishing. Unfortunately over the years they slowly but surely reduced fishing on the site to the point it was almost impossible to be able to fish there at all. New rules were added and along with many others I bought all the necessary equipment required. Very soon after this they decided to shut down the fishing and provide it on a couple of ponds to people who booked onto the caravan site only. Unfortunately all Debbie and Andy did was ruin what could have been a well run fishery. If they weren't interested in running a fishery why buy one in the first place? Yes it has been some time since I fished it however I believe my review is valid especially as Lemington lakes continues to be listed as a fishery on many sites. What once was a lovely fishery has now been taken away from angler's. Can't understand why they didn't sell it to someone interested in running it as the fishery it had been for years prior to their ownership.

Yes I did mistakenly use a small barbed hook but did show her a pack of none barbed hooks that I had and thought that was one of the hooks
Secondly I did set up a float fishing rod Debbie checked it seem happy with it
Not why shes saying that they were second hand when I told her it was all new tackle that my wife got me
There was 1 small rod I use for float fishing and a larger rod that I use for course fishing Im not aware any of the rods that are for sea fishing
The only rule I broke was mistakenly putting on the wrong hook
At no point I felt I was putting any fish
In danger needles to say I will never return
