The Gables Nursing Home

My father as been a resident at the Gables since September 2021, the staff are wonderful and are so caring towards him and are always on hand to answer any queries we have. Meals are plentiful and always look tasty which encourages my father to eat.

The staff and management at this home go the extra mile for the residents,there is a family atmosphere,the team there have worked and carered for the residents throughout a pandemic,putting themselves on the front line especialy during the early days of the crisis,to care for the loved ones of others.I have been a nurse for over nearly 4 decades,i have seen many changes in approach to dementia care,and this home goes the extra mile.The CQC report on careing i feel is unjust,everyone who turns up and enters that home is dedicated,its a hard job,the Manager is professional and is always available to support families wether she is on site or off duty,so to is the deputy,well done to the Gables you should all feel proud

Enjoyed the job but too many nasty carers, youve only got to have something different about you then you get picked on for every little thing
