I understand that the nature of the outcome with your pet can influence how you review a veterinary clinic, so I'm writing this before I know for sure and is solely based on the practice, people and prices. We took our hen here as it's a rare location for a 'chicken friendly' vet (Susan). She was knowledgeable and offered much information by email before even arriving. The reception staff were able to give us a full quote before arriving, in writing. The welcome was friendly and the process for hens (in a world of avian flu) was good. We received excellent care for our hen, and Susan was thorough in a pre-procedure assessment and knowledgeable about all aspects of keeping hens. The procedure needed a veterinary nurse (Helana) who was wonderful with our hen, and knowledgeable too. The consultation price was reasonable for a specialist and the price of the medication was OK although not competitive on a national scale (there is quite a north-south divide). My five stars is based on punctuality, friendliness, pre-visit information (by email), knowledge and level of care for our hen. Thank you.

really sad day today, had my beautiful clarky put to sleep but Victoria and all the staff were absolutely brilliant, showed so much compassion and made what was a very sad and tearful time and hard, they made it a very private and compassionate time to say our goodbyes. thankyou once again for everything you done for clarky

Horrendous. I felt my dog died due to negligence. A year after the claim was made and paid by my insurance company I received a bill for an additional 350. I asked for my case to be referred to the Veterinary Client Mediation Service, which Park Hill Vets refused leaving me no other option than launching a court case.
