John and the team are extremely helpful but not pushy, my pet hate is being pounced on when you enter a showroom. We had two bedrooms fitted and a kitchen. Fantastic service from start to finish. Would highly recommend

Our experience of Tiverton Kitchens was perfect from beginning to end. At our very first visit to the showroom (between lockdowns, a pre-booked, socially distanced meeting with just us allowed in the showroom), we knew that we had made a great choice. I knew that my choice of cooker (a very large Lacanche Range) would take a lot of working around both physically and also in terms of scheduling all the work around delivery/installation. The thought of juggling tradesmen for such a large project (including a new ceiling, floor, electrics upgrades etc etc on top of a full kitchen install) left us cold so it was wonderful to know that they were happy to take on the entire project, beginning to end and in essence project manage everything. Knowing that they had a team of trusted tradesmen whom frequently work with them and are happy to flex schedules if needed meant we were very reassured that the sequencing of works would be so much easier than we could ever reproduce ourselves. Once installation was underway, we were genuinely blown away but the quality of the tradesmen who came. A special mention must, of course, go to Sam, our kitchen fitter. He is an utter perfectionist and the quality of his work is truly exceptional. Because of the unique shape of our kitchen and my desire to maximise space, a number of fittings were basically built from scratch and the level of craftsmanship is remarkable. We were constantly being consulted about everything, all the little choices, from which side we wanted certain doors to open to the exact position of the door handles etc etc - nothing was too much trouble when it came to the details. It was so lovely that as the owner of the company, John popped in or rang virtually every day to check on progress and answer any questions. We never felt the need to chase anything as we knew he would be in contact. Sam also naturally took responsibility as the project manager on the ground and spoke to us at the end of each day to update us on where we were and tell us who would be coming in the next day and what time to expect them. He was constantly speaking to the other trades to update them on any minor delays (like when we found we had an unexpected hole under our old floor!) and helped reschedule accordingly. Considering the limitations of Covid-19, it couldnt have been more seamless - an absolute blessing as issues around sequencing the works was our greatest fear. All of the other trades were fabulous too, everyone was very respectful of our home, clean, tidy and all worked to an exceptional standard. Literally we would not change a thing! I am fully aware that so many of my choices made the entire process harder for many of the tradesmen! From Andy the plumber having to navigate my choice of a 270kg cast iron radiator (which was delivered in 2 halves!). To Isaac the decorator having to colour match an unusual colour then paint an odd shaped feature wall in an old house with a very dark colour. Pete the worktop fitter having to work with such large expanses and fiddly shapes or Rob the flooring fitter laying a more difficult flooring option perfectly and of course Pete the electrician having to put a whole new consumer unit to cope with my cooker! - I certainly tested their skills (and patience, Im sure!) but still everything was absolutely perfect. We asked for an awful lot and Tiverton Kitchens delivered. We genuinely could not be more delighted. From beginning to end, the entire process has been as painless as possible and everyone has been a joy to work with. Thank you so much John and your team, I am fully aware that I have very high expectations but you all exceeded even them and the end result is genuinely the kitchen of my dreams!
