In January of 2022 I was struggling with some hip pain after a period of inactivity due to having covid. I approached CT Osteopathy who took a thorough history & did a full assessment prior to treating my symptoms. I found her very knowledgeable and instantly felt at ease. As I had some medical background & history of pervious medical issues we worked together to treat and rule out any factors that could be causing my symptoms. After a few treatments the symptoms were not easing as we had hoped and I was still in quite a bit of pain even though I was still continuing to teach & partake in exercise classes. Claire suggested given my medical history even though I was not clinically presenting with red flag symptoms, before proceeding with further with more invasive treatment that I obtain an Xray & CT Scan of my spine to ensure there was nothing more serious going on. I approached my GP who considering my medical history just wanted to get me to take opioids and would not entertain the idea of a scan referral even though I stressed my history, after 2 weeks of medication they would refer me to a physio therapist with a 3 month wait list if necessary. My next option was to approach AxA who I have medical care with through work, they said I needed to have an online consultation, then physio treatment and then if they deemed fit would refer me to a consultant before obtaining a scan. By this time I was frustrated & the pain was starting to impede my work, Claire suggested she make a referral for me and sent me up to an appointment with her contacts in London which I paid for privately. Within a few hours I of being scanned Claire was contacted and told I was a medical emergency within 10 days I had been operated on. I had an acute compression of my spinal cord which if it had been left to go through the processes as suggested by my GP & AxA I would have been paralysed and in a chair for the rest of my life. I cannot thank & praise Claire at CT Osteopathy enough for convincing me to go & get the scans done privately if it wasnt for her I would be in a very different position than I am today. At 42 I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease which will mean I will most probably need another operation in 10 years time. It has been a long recovery, but a year down the line I am back teaching exercise classes, riding horses, back in the gym (albeit moderated) & living a normal life with some informed adaptations. Things could have been so different, I was self-aware of my body, with my medical background I also knew the red flags to look for but I didnt present text book, if I had listened to the GP & AxA their advice would have failed me. I was so lucky to have found Claire & will forever be indebted to her. I cant recommend Claire more highly.

I have been treated by Claire for a range of back and neck issues, both whilst pregnant and post natal. She has always sorted-out my issues and helped me to avoid reoccurring issues with exercises and stretches for at home. I've recommended her to so many people and I will continue to do so.

Claire is so confident and knowledgeable I wouldnt go anywhere else. At my first consultation I felt completely relaxed as she listened to my concerns and explained what was causing my pains and how the treatments would work. I felt immediate results and continue seeing Claire with ongoing treatments to manage my symptoms. Claire is a very friendly and caring person who has given me advice and stretches I can do at home. I have recommended Claire to lots of people and will continue to do so!

Very effective diagnosis with a clear understandable treatment plan.that made sense and worked. Manipulation and some massage has made all the difference. Claire is great, passionate and knows her stuff I have been to a number of different practices over the years and she fills me with confidence. More importantly the improvement in my neck, mid and lower back is life changing. Would recommend without hesitation to friends and family - Thank you

Claire has been absolutely outstanding and has become my go to medical professional. When I first met Claire in 2019, I was receiving weekly treatment from a chiropractor for back pain, Claire was able to quickly identify the correct issue and resolve for me, along with providing the correct exercises to limit future issues. Claire cemented herself as my go to person earlier this year when she was able to diagnose and treat chest pains and shortness of breath from a restricted thoracic spine, that had left A&E perplexed. I regularly recommend Claire and will continue to do so!
