Lovely little find just off the very busy road through Tintwhistle. Great lunches - Shepherd's pie and beef suet pudding. Bonus as dog friendly inside too.

Beautiful old worldy pub. Amazing home made food. Gravy is better than Miller & Caters. Great hosts made us more than welcome. Kath was a brilliant bar maid. Mick and Jane are so friendly as owners

Very friendly pub, landlord very attentive, his wife is the chef, all food home made, very tasty and good portions, see photos of puddings. Outside eating area and car park. Log fire for when the days are cold. Well worth a visit.

Local, independent pub with a charasmatic landlord and friendly staff. OH had a tasty beef Sunday roast with fluffy Yorkshire puds and I had a steak and ale pie that looked nothing special but definitely hit the spot. Nice ale too, but only one cask ale on tap - a sad sign of the times these days unfortunately.
