The Reading Doctor, Bath

Having started lessons with Lisa for my reluctant 9-year-old in February of this year, I didn't have much hope. I had tried near enough everything I could think of to help him with his reading. After his first lesson with Lisa I've never seen him come away from a person so excited and happy for the next one. Lisa knows how to connect with him and even get him over his reluctance sometimes. The progress he has made with her in such a short space of time is absolutely fantastic.

My son is 7 and struggles a lot with his reading compared to peers. Since starting lessons with Lisa he has improved so much and is moving up book levels with her and at school as well. We and his teacher have been impressed with his progress. He is also learning to form his letters properly which is helping him in his writing as well. We would highly recommend Lisa's sessions. She is enthusiastic and engaging and he enjoys them too!
