Where to start....my Neuro prescribed Lidocaine patches for hand pain. Dr W did not want to give me them on prescription. Two years later asked for more, he refused to give me more. In my 13 years there I have seen him about 9 times with issues. Pain in testicles, no examination. A cough for more than two weeks, no examination. He diagnosed me with shingles, no medication. Severe pain in foot, he said he would refer me for an x-ray. Never had the x-ray. Shoulder pain, no referral to see what's causing it. Last week I went with chronic back pain and what felt like a fever. I have Multiple Sclerosis and I explained I struggled to get out of bed. I live alone. There was no mention of my safety at all. He just told me it was only a couple of days in with back pain and to home and take some pain killers. I was in there 2 minutes. No examination. There are others that I cannot think of right now.

These two father and daughter GPS are the most rubbish and lazy doctors. They dont put the patients best interest first and always fobs you off saying that the problem will resolve by itself! Or convince you that you dont have a problem when you do! Misdiagnosing all the time. Waste of my time

This is worse gp practice that Ive been to. Ive recently just moved to the area and Im so dissatisfied with the care that Ive been receiving. The doctors all seem to not care about anything and will not prescribe anything thats over the counter even for children and ask me to go another gp that will prescribe. Theyre also very lazy with referrals and ask me to self refer for a lot of things. Waste of time I dont recommend going to them!

The shared facility is quite clean and spacious with lots of seating, that is the only reason I'm not rating 1 star. Seeing Dr. Westwood (the older man) twice since being at this practise, which I am no changing, it felt like I'd disturbed his allocated nap time. He was lay back in his chair, lazily talking and when I explained my issues, he barely did a visual check of me and said these things usually clear themselves up. My next visit was just as helpful, as I went in with a pain in my nostril to the point I couldn't touch it he advised I get my bloods checked as it could be diabetes... I am 26, a gym owner and extremely healthy individual, although this doesn't rule out diabetes, it makes it much less likely. Again, a half attempt at a visual/ physical inspection and ushered out the door. I think he is under the belief that he still has some effective years left as a GP, unfortunately it seems no one has told him that these years have passed.
