Rooms: Rooms were rustic, cosy and modernised. That's the whole style of the lodges. Our whole lodge had more than enough space for 2 people with a lovely living area, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, bedroom, sauna and decking area. Nearby activities: Not much to do around the lodge particularly, but it is lovely to sit and relax in the lodge all day - you wouldn't get bored. You are greeted with ducks as soon as you arrive, and you can feed them with the feed in reception. There is a local pub nearby but we didn't use it. Safety: We felt safe in the lodge, with staff roaming around the retreat periodically. It was tranquil and relaxing. The lodges felt safe as they're tucked away. Walkability: The retreat is easily accessible and the grounds are lovely to walk around. Food & drinks: The reception has a small shop with all essentials you may need just in case you forget. There is a pub next door but didn't go in. Farnham (10-15mins drive) has great food options. Noteworthy details: The staff are very friendly. There are loads of ducks that you can feed.
