Lovely to pick up Wild boar steak, shoulder and sausage, along with eggs at their fortnightly stall by St Nick's market today. Long may they continue.

We had a turkey and goose for Xmas Dinner this year. I was really impressed with the quality and taste of both. The birds came beautifully prepared with fresh herbs and instructions for cooking. Best turkey we have had for Christmas and we will definitely go back again. Thank you.

We've been going to Madgetts for our poultry and eggs for the past few months and I have to say the difference between their produce and that from a supermarket is like night and day. The chickens are incredibly tasty and juicy when roasted, the duck is so much better, the eggs are incredibly golden of yolk and make everything cooked with them better. The duck eggs are a real treat too. My girlfriend can't eat pork products so it's great that we can get chicken or duck or venison sausages from there. All of which are fantastic. There are other meat products available but too many to include in this review. I hope one good thing to come out of the Corona crisis is that more people support and buy from their local producers. I know we certainly will be.
