Refurbished and restocked, a brilliant village shop for local people.

Service here is terrible. Just been in to withdraw money. When it was my turn I was overlooked in favour of a shop user even though I was there first. What is going on? This used to be a lovely shop and post office, not any more!

Poor customer service, once again. We have been on a number of occasions to post parcels and have been told not to bring large parcels. When we took more than ten small parcels, we were told that next time take them to Beverley. This is unacceptable. Also, when we asked for a proof of posting for a letter, we were asked to pay an extra 1.68p, so that the machine could print the receipt. This is not correct. The post office is there to provide a service to the community. If they have no room for parcels, why are they even a post office? The previous postmaster never turned people away and always provided a proof of posting whenever it was asked for. We have now contacted the post office customer service team and they agree with us and will be taking the matter further.
