When my wife was 16 she slipped in the snow, landed on her bottom and put one of the discs out in her back, the hospital at the time put her in bed, in traction. From that moment on she suffered for many years from severe back pain so I suggested she see a Chiropractor a few years ago. She saw a Chiropractor in Rotherham for quite a few treatments and eventually the lady sent her for a private x-ray, from that she said she thought my wife might have broken her coccyx years ago but couldnt be sure. Many treatments later my wife didnt seem to be getting any better, so I suggested she go back to the doctor, he referred her to the NHS Physio department at hospital. Their assessment was that they would be able to help her but shed have to go every week (during the working day) for 18 months, she was employed, so that was impossible. As a last resort we tried a Chiropractor again but fortunately this time we found Ruth Bishop. Well what a difference to the last Chiropractor, within a couple of sessions my wifes back pain was much better and then with only a few more sessions she was pain free for the first time in over twenty years. That was many years ago and she still has no back pain from that injury to this day. I too suffer back pain occasionally from my job because I bend over all day at work and occasionally suffer from sciatica, a session or two with Ruth soon sorts me out, shes amazing. Give her a call FIRST if you need a Chiropractor, she is extremely good at her job, you wont be disappointed.
