Hi Thanks, RTMF, I've got my right to manage! The process was super simple and only cost a few hundred pounds. If you're thinking about, don't, just start the process and you'll escape the clutches of the fleecing management companies in no time. I was dealing with Mauricea South. She was really helpful Good luck

Excelent experience, there are times the process goes quiet but Mauricea and Nick always repled to my queries on the process and time scales. Even after the process has been completed, their aftercare has been first rate.

Extremely helpful and very quick to respond to queries. Our company was up and running in a very short time.

RTMF took all the hard work out of this process. Perhaps most importantly they took the time to discuss our situation and address the specific circumstances. If you find that you're in a situation where you are considering taking over right to manage you probably have a few existing issues, so being given a clear, constructive path forward is a blessing. For us, gaining the reassurance we needed to proceed (and eventually bring all leaseholders onboard as members) was the crucial step. Everything else just happened like clockwork. We filled in the forms, paid a very modest sum and then a few months later had our RTM. It hasn't ended there though, and Nick and Mauricea continue to assist in preparing us for assuming management. Their service has generally been excellent. In some cases they took a while to respond, but this is obviously bc they're very busy. No surprises there as they offer a very necessary service. If you have been thinking about this I would suggest making contact sooner rather than later.

Our case was urgent as I explained this to Nick, I am the leaseholder who organized the majority. Our case was serious since the developer and freeholder company was run by a family of fraudsters which criminal past we discovered on the newspapers (after they took the money from the rent of our properties for over a year). The payment requested by RTMF was done in full in April, however the notification to the freeholder was sent on 25th June after I chased tirelessly to RTMF, the explanation I was given was that they took holidays. In July the freeholder was wound-up and we could not get any legal advice from RTMF regarding whether we still had to wait the acceptance from a freeholder that had ceased to be the freeholder or not. So, if you have a simple case where time is not critical and you do not need any legal advice (I found out later that RTMF are not solicitors) but just letters to be send it may work. In our case, the slowness and lack of engagement from RTMF really affected us.
