A lovely place to have a browse of all sorts of bits and pieces, sweet treats, toys, ornaments, clothing, cards, tools. A great cafe staffed by such lovely ladies. Great food, good value. Recommend

We love this place. Regularly buy plants and gifts. The food here is always so delicious and we eat here quite a lot. However, today during a busy lunchtime, we were lucky to find 1 low table available. I ordered our lunch and sat back to enjoy the ambience. Over in the far right hand corner, we were disgusted to see a lady knitting and both of her feet were on the table. Boots off, thankfully. My partner stated that they were on the chair at first. We both mentioned how unacceptable this was, to the 2 waitresses. They just nodded and did nothing. 2 elderly ladies who were sitting on the table next to her, remarked about this as they passed by. They too thought it unacceptable. My partner asked to speak to the Manager, but was told he/she was busy. Again we complained and was then told that the lady had hurt her ankle. OK. Then she should have kept them on the chair. The waitress did then go and tell her to put them back on the chair. How unhygienic to put them on the table. It really was disgusting. She left before us, but continued to walk round the centre.....wasn't that sore then!!!!!! I do think the staff should have been more helpful and should have ensured she had 1 sore ankle on a chair, not 2 on the table. Shame on her.
