As a previous comment said, nice enough guy but the service we received was beyond poor and based on our experience I would not recommend. This whole process has been nothing but stress and disappointment for us over the last year. Communication has been non-existent, Ive had to continuously chase and would only occasionally get a response. Getting commitment to fitting dates was like pulling hens teeth, and when they were agreed, they were cancelled last minute or no-shows. Below is a brief version of our experience: Deposit paid in March 2021 to have 2x bi-folds fitted and a new front and back door, we were given a lead-time of May-June for fitting. From there on in I have had to constantly chase for updates, the bi-folds were delivered to our house with no notice and we were not made aware that they were being delivered direct to us, lucking we had other contractors in who were able to accept the delivery and put them in the garage where they sat for months as we could not get commitment to a fitting date. On one of the many chasers sent, we were asked to remind him of the front and back door specs so he could order them, despite paying the parts deposit in March the order was not put through till months later. Bi-folds were eventually fitted on 24th Oct and 26th Oct, and we were told the front and back door would be delivered to AJ on 9th Nov and he would be looking to fit them asap. We got the end of January and decided to cancel this part of the job as we again were seeing no commitment to dates. To top off the frustration, when I cancelled the outstanding doors I was given and apology and told that he had had a tough few months as he had been sucked into doing new builds. Effectively our job that he committed to and took a deposit on almost a year ago was pushed aside for what I am assuming was more profitable work. Since then we have asked AJ to collect old patio door and window from bi-fold fittings as this was part of the agreed service. We did get commitment to a date recently but not surprisingly, he did not turn up. We have now decided to get a 3rd party to collect the waste at an additional cost to us, as it has been sat down the side of our house for 5 months and we just want to draw a line under this.
