My daughter started riding here in 1994 she absolutely loved riding Boycie ( think that's how it's spelt) sorry to hear it has closed

Amazing riding centre! Contessa has beautifully schooled schoomasters, up to Grand Prix level - something that you do not find often. All of the instructors are brilliant, providing clear and classical tuition. One of the few places around where you can learn to ride with art, subtlety and the horse in mind. It's also a very friendly community, and a lovely place to spend time.

Was my first visit here today after my boyfriend purchased me 3 private 1:1 lessons for Christmas, so that I can rebuild my confidence after witnessing a friend of mine getting bucked off her horse and breaking her knee cap in 10 places! Anyhow, it so happened I got the wrong wknd booked, but I went to meet the horse Mr B that I'm to be paired up with and they are all so lovely and sweet natured. They have a large beautiful indoor school and excellent teachers from the sound of it. I didnt feel at all intimidated as I know some stables can be very clicks. Anyhow, everyone I met was very friendly and welcoming and I cannot wait for my first lesson in a couple of weeks time. Highly recommendable, friendly and clean and well looked after horses!
