Stayed one night had an evening meal and breakfast. Decent facilities though bedroom and en suite were a bit on the small side - having said that the KS bed was fantastic - huge and very comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was good quality, though I found the menu very limited - if you don't eat red meat you have very restricted choices (beef, beef, steak, steak, beef, beef, sausages, beef, fish & chips) All pretty positive so far, and the village is delightful. However, we were extremely disappointed with the "continental breakfast". Breakfast was served 8-10, we arrived at 9:40 (having previously notifying the hotel that was when we would be eating) and we couldn't have been made less welcome if we'd brought a pet rat in with us. Available food choices were very poor - some mini-boxes of cereal and a couple of yoghurts. We had to explicitly and separately ask for toast, butter and water, and the service was surly and extremely grudging. Very underwhelmed with this, which ranks among some of the worst breakfast service and provision I've ever had, and really took the shine off the visit. One other minor point - the hotel provides wifi, but never provided the password for it. I'm sure they would have if asked, but surely this information should have been volunteered to a guest as they arrived, or be documented in the room? Vegetarian options: Very poor

Lovely Inn in a nice , pretty village. We chose a twin bedded room with air conditioning ( not all rooms have air con), nicely decorated with a fridge , ironing board and tea and coffee facilities. The curtains were also black out. Lovely bar and restaurant .Nicely decorated and furnished We ate off the classic menu in the evening, good choice of dishes and reasonably priced. The price also includes a continental breakfast and other breakfast items are chargeable. I found the continental slightly disappointing as I expected ham and cheese to be among the other items offered and larger pastries would have been nice. That said the room was comfy, the staff very pleasant and I would not hesitate to come back again Parking: Parking available outside the premises
