A great asset for the local community. I was there as a family member of the person who booked it for her children's birthday party. She lives several villages away, so can assume it's open to those outside the village also. The main hall was a good size, light and spacious, and well equipped for power, lights, tables and chairs. The separate ladies and gents facilities were clean and well maintained. The kitchen was also a good size, and stocked with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware. There were two very large kettles, plus a boiling water tap. The fridge was a regular domestic sized one, but fine for same-day events. A dishwasher would be a nice addition, but understandable that they don't have one. I didn't get to see all that the place offers - there were smaller rooms that I didn't go into - but worth checking out if you need a venue for a family or group event.
