Very responsive, polite and easy to communicate with. Came on time and did a great job with a great attitude. Will definately be a repeat customer and recommend him to others.

Hired Gavin. He came across as a genuine, very pleasant man. Gavin had a good look, said it would be no problem, easy enough to do, gave me a fixed price, to do the works. There was one remaining root he couldn't do, when he was here doing the job, and said he needed to get a special tool, so he could remove it, and would be back at an agreed fixed date, to complete the job. I paid him to complete the job, in full. He agreed with me the day and time he would be out, but he didn't show up. I sent him a number of texts, but not once did he respond to any of them. It soon became apparent that he wasn't coming back-taking money from me, for a job not completed. What I should have done was pay him some of the money, and pay him the rest, when he came back to finish the job. But I trusted him, as he seemed so nice. Now, I'm out of pocket. The front garden will cost us thousands, as so much needs to be done. Gavin was going to be doing all these works. We feel completely let down, and betrayed. I know it was my fault for paying him all the money upfront. But I will never do this again. We have a huge amount of works to be done. But, at least they will be done by a reputable company, who won't let me down, and treat me in such an appalling way. I trusted he would keep to his promise, and complete the job I paid him for, in full. Now someone else has to come out, and complete the job he didn't. But, I have certainly learnt my lesson from this.
