Lovely quiet site with nice showers and toilets. We especially liked the off leash fenced dog walking area. Owner very friendly and went above and beyond including fantastic recommendation for dinner and even booking us a table sonwe could get in on a late looking on a busy Friday night. Pitches Lovely and level with water tap on every one.

Great spot to stay, one of the Tranquil Parks' sites for the over-18s. Very peaceful place away from the main roads and based around a small fishing lake, which enhances the setting even if you're not into fishing. The owners/hosts were very welcoming and keep the area well maintained. We made use of the DVD library as we have no aerial, and the mobile signal was not too good for streaming (around 10-12 Mbps on EE the best, then 3 had enough for basic browsing. Vodafone and O2 pretty bad). There are also books and jigsaws to borrow, as well as other facilities such as laundry, info leaflets, enclosed dog run (4' fences), dog wash room, pot-wash room and the toilet/shower block. Pitches are a decent size and flat, with their own water taps and electric hook-up with meter (we managed with the basic 3 for 3 nights without using a heater). One thing maybe missing (a suggestion) is a 24-hour mini shop/hut with an honesty box; I like the sites that have these for the odd ice lollies, nibbles or if you're out of coffee etc. There are fresh eggs to buy though, and that can't detract from a 5:5 star rating.
