Yorkshire Oak Beams

A few photos to add to Sallys review now that the porch is finished. The windows on both sides of the door and the low landing window above meant a wider than usual porch with a shallow roof angle. None of this was a problem for Graham and his team. The angles and joints were millimetre prefect. The builder said it was the best quality oak porch they had ever erected. We roofed the porch with reclaimed tiles to match the house. It is already starting to weather nicely and we plan to leave it to silver naturally over the next few years. The final porch sits 1 cm below the upstairs window - a tribute to the accuracy of measurement and construction. We are very pleased and would have no hesitation in recommending Yorkshire Oak Beams.

We cannot believe our luck discovering such a gem of a place tucked away in the Thorp Arch Idustrial Estate in Wetherby. We arrived with quite a tricky brief for an oak porch beacause of the nature of our property but all the staff bent over backwards to make our dream come true and we now have a fabulous oak porch completely in keeping with our property which is the talk of the hamlet we live in. The craftsmanship is a work of art and the professionalism of the company is second to none . You will not be disappointed if you choose this company...amazing products and lovely people. Last year I order a porch kit after extensive research and the results are magnificent and totally in keeping with the property style. The cost was very competitive and according to the joiner fitting the kit it was the best and easiest to erect hed ever worked with. Following the advice I oiled the porch and it has weathered the winter brilliantly still looking good.

Recently bought an oak porch kit and couldnt be more happier with it. The guys were extremely helpful and friendly. Wanted additional oak cut to size and they were happy to oblige. Cannot fault them in any way, highly recommended.

After checking online sites for a solid oak mantle for above a wood burner I decided to visit this company. I am so glad I did, all the beams are different and there was a great variety. We were given great advice and left to browse at leisure. There were some amazing oak porches on display if anyone is looking to get one I would definitely check this company out as a priority. The trip from Doncaster was time well spent, the price and quality are superior to all I have researched.
