        Turned up in the freezing cold with a broken bike just as they were about to close. Let me have a drink and stay in the pub, until my wife rescued me. Much appreciated. I will return for a meal soon.

        Booked a table for my family to celebrate a birthday. We were allowed to take our own cake although we did have deserts! Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding is amazing with chunks of cinder toffee! We'll certainly be back and thoroughly recommend.

        Went for Sunday lunch on what happened to be a quiet day due to a certain world cup match. Regardless of this the food was impeccable and great value for money, we also appreciated that we didn't feel awkward even though we were one of the only tables. Staff were all lovely and the interior was really nice too!
