As my son's drum teacher, David has made a vital contribution to his confident with drumming and different styles, helps him to understand and play great techniques as well as providing lots of helpful advice for practice at home. I had 10 production lessons with RockAcad. Matt Walch was incredibly supportive of what I was trying to achieve, and gave some expert help and advice with the tracks I was working on. Working with him was a very relaxed experience but I made noticeable progress and developed real confidence with production throughout the lesson packages, to the extent of being able to put out a couple of my own EPs on Bandcamp. This is one of the best things I've ever done for my musical development!

I would thoroughly recommend! The drum lessons are excellent in terms of content, David's approach to the children, their enjoyment and the progression they make. I've been attending virtual drum lessons with David (founder of RockAcad) for only a few months but the improvements I have noticed in my drumming and my overall confidence while playing are immense! The passion the teachers have for their instruments is truly infectious and as all of the teachers have had first-hand music industry experience, I feel encouraged to ask questions about my instrument and/or music in general. All the lessons are tailored to each individual student so I am able to decide what I'd like to work on each lesson, with helpful suggestions from my teacher about what we could focus on (from playing along to songs to working on technique and building the fundamentals of my instrument to practicing for grades etc.) Having the lessons set out in this way creates an environment of comfortability and allows the student to work at their own pace. I would HIGHLY recommend RockAcad to anyone, whether you're a beginner or professional looking to refine their skills and everyone in between!
