What a find we was on our way home from visiting Northallerton when we saw the pub sign and decided to call we was disappointed decent size inn with a good selection of food wines and beers plenty of tables noticed the amount of reserved tables which is a good sign I had gammon steak with homemade chips peas mushrooms tomatoes homemade onion rings fried egg and pineapple a very good portion my wife had the fish pie which was also a good portion full of fish and a side plate of freshly cooked vegetables excellent food at a very reasonable price
