The Grange Guest House

We have just had a lovely weekend break at The Grange. Tina and Vanessa were the perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming. The guest house is beautiful, full of character and original features. It is immaculately clean and the rooms are very comfortable. We were welcomed with tea and cake on arrival which was lovely after quite a long journey and the breakfast was great. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.

What a gem of a place The Grange is! We stayed for 2 nights as a birthday present for my husband who wanted to visit Mathewsons so The Grange was perfect as it is within walking distance in a beautiful quaint village. From the moment we arrived Tina and Vanessa greeted us with such a warm happy welcome which immediately put us at ease. Our room was spotless, extremely comfortable bed and a beautiful large En suite. The breakfast room was perfectly laid out and the breakfast was amazing! We would definitely stay again when next visiting that part of the world. Tina and Vanessa you are THE PERFECT HOSTS!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grange Guest House. An outstanding guesthouse with very comfortable, fastidiously clean decorated rooms. We stayed in the very large York suite, a wonderfully decorated room with en-suite shower. A small fridge is available for your use, ideal for guests who wish to store fresh milk to have with their nespresso coffee or tea. FYI, a nespresso coffee machine is situated in the York suite only, pods provided. Breakfast is a delight, Vanessa and Tina cater for every palate including a gluten free one and Vanessas Bircher Muesli was delicious. Private parking is available at the rear of the guest house, there is even a charge facility for your EV. Lastly, the owners Tina and Vanessa, were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, always ready to recommend places to eat, visit and regale the history of The Grange which has a glass covered well in the dining area, a great feature. We look forward to our stay next year, hope the York suite will be free!
