        A wonderful location, situated in the bottom of a peaceful valley, and right next to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway's Levisham station. Rowntree Cottage is well equipped, with a lovely atmosphere and what must be the largest bed in Yorkshire! I've lost count of the number of times we have stayed here, and we can't wait to return. Our absolute favourite place to stay!

        We have been going to Rowntree Cottage since 2009. The cottage is quaint and cosy and clean and when we arrive there is a lovely Tea cake to have with a nice cup of tea. The view from the cottage to the train station is wonderful. When the trains are running you can easily catch a train to Whitby, Pickering and Goathland where you can do lots of walking across the moors. After a tiring day you can relax in front of the log fire listening to the owls.
