Heating wasn't on when we arrived meant a really cold first few hours, and heating itself was switched off during the day between about 10am and 5pm leaving only one room was warm if you lit the fire. Owner a little blunt, and always started with the negatives, but that might be just his way. Cleaning wasnt up to much as we found a dirty sock and teatowel down the back of one of the sofa cushions and a load of broken glass under another. Shame really as it has a lot of potential, and a good base for trips into Pickering and the surrounding areas.
