Despite the difficulties all GP practices are experiencing due to inadequate staffing levels my experience has been that Thornton Medical Practice does as well as it can under the circumstances. Yes, it can be difficult getting through on the phone sometimes, but this is due to the high volume of calls the practice receives daily. It's not fair to suggest that staff are anything less than 100% UnfUnfortunately commited to providing a good service under extremely testing and under resourced conditions.

Called this morning and after stating my name and reason for calling, they said they will look into my issue and call back. I received no call back. I just called back to which they had no record of me ever previously calling. The woman I just spoke to clearly wanted to do anything else but help me. After confirming where my prescription was she hung up abruptly. I could barely fit in to say thank you. Awful service. I understand if you don't like your job but please show 1% enthusiasm as you are helping people in need.

Absolutely shocking surgery can never get an appointment no matter what time you phone, phoned today as struggling to breath was told this isn't urgent and phone back in the morning. What a joke now having to go to a&e due to this none urgent issue
