Outside, at the front, there is a great monument to the mining community that underpins most villages in County Durham.
Inside, is a modern building with a great space for indoor bowls, parties, bands etc. Along with a few smaller rooms and kitchen facilities. At the rear is a decent pitch and outdoor exercise equipment. Staff are very friendly and there's a range of classes that run throughout the day/evening and across the year.
